I saw a Puls'd deal for L'asso (one large pie with either a bottle of wine or four cocktails). It seemed like an awesome deal! When I did a quick Yelp, I saw it was already on my bookmarks list, so it was pretty much a done deal. My boyfriend and I arrived at about 2 pm on a Sunday... More

Went there for lunch because of their gluten free pizzas. The place looks worn maybe on purpose, but we didnt see one table without pizza crumbs from earlier guests. We got a glass of tap water which tasted of chlorine. The pizzas them selves were fine, but without much taste. And the $22 for their cheapest gluten free pizza is... More

I ate here the last time I was in New York and literally had a dream about the pizza so knew I would be back. I was not disappointed. This pizza is just perfect and I can't wait to go back. A tip- they only take cash. The place is very small so a wait may be required.

We found this place on Groupon and decided to go after seeing 100% positive feedback. The pizza we tried was excellent. You can tell it was good quality ingredients and the taste was just on point as well. The place is rather small and they have some interesting weird pictures on the wall that makes you think this place use... More

This restaurant is the very reason you steer away from the Little Italy tourist strip. The pizzas are great and they will be flexible with the ingredients. Cannot speak more highly of them. Staff are wonderful. Two Aussies had a great feed.

After waiting for over 45 minutes for 1 pizza, watching other tables being serviced (who came after us), no apology from the waitress. 15 minutes later still no pizza and no drink orders, Manager calls my cousin "Sassy" for complaining about the service and clear lack of food. Manager made everyone feel very uncomfortable with his attitude and clear lack... More

We stopped in for a couple of slices of their wood-fired Margherita pizza twice while we were in the city for a few days. We sat up at the counter facing the windows and enjoyed watching the world go by while chowing down deliciousness. If I lived in the city I'd come here often and try anything they offer. Super... This place is a fantastic brunch spot. Loved the endless bloody mary and entre deal! I think it's $20 or $25 for the combo. Very satisfying!

Why do folks wait for a table at Lombardi's, when right around the corner is this excellent brick oven pizzeria. Excellent crust light as air, great salads, friendly service. You cannot ask for more!

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
