I had heard about Il Bastardo but never could see myself going without being invited. Well, that day came. I couldn't say no to my friend's 39th bday celebration. For the price, it was worth it. I was a bit hungover from going out the...More

Great place to go with a large group of friends and was there with about 20 people for a bachelorette party. Sherif went out of his way to make sure that our group was well taken care of!

I was very impressed with the food but they should have higher-end liquor. That was a big disappointment. The service was so terrible that I didn't even want to leave a tip. Pay attention to all of your tables, even if you have one large...More

If you like day parties and alcohol it's a good place. Prifixe menu was okay. The whole bottle of wine to yourself is awesome. Good music. Crowded.

We've been trying restaurants throughout Chelsea to be our go-to dinner spot since we both began working in NYC. After being overcharged for mediocre food, rushed along to make room for an 8:00 seating, and faced its bizarre blaring music, we finally found the perfect...More

First time dining here to celebrate my friend's birthday. Sat at the bar and enjoyed several really good happy hour margaritas. The bartender was very nice and attentive. We shared the four cheeses pizza and tiramisu, they both were divine! The huge chandeliers in this...More

After a great win in the tournament a few fellow Seton Hall fans and I went to dinner to celebrate. We continued our "high" at this restaurant. The drinks were creative and nicely presented. I had a Blackberry Mint Margarita. It was not overly sweet...More

Il Bastardo is a sort-of half restaurant-half bar place. The back dining room is more intimate; the front shares the bar and is more interesting. Big picture windows open onto the sidewalk for outdoor dining, weather permitting. The place is very casual and the service...More
