We were 3 women who went to college eons ago and had a lot to catch up on. The restaurant is vibrant and we were seated in a booth that allowed us to talk and hear each other. Returning to Morandi's again feels like I just went to Nonnie's house yet she attracts young and old. We each had salads... More

We stumbled upon this place while walking around in New York City and when we walked inside we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered cocktails at the bar which were delicious. I ordered calamari which was one of the best we've ever had very tender and lightly battered and fried perfectly. The Prosciutto wrapped breadsticks were tasty also. The service was... More

Went there on a Saturday for brunch. It was packed so it's better to have a reservation. Bruschetta and antipasti as a starter were really good. Pasta bolognese as a main dish was really good as well. Fun, Cosy , trendy and delicious ... I recommend it.

There are great spots in NYC to spend your cash and get great food for "great" prices. Marandi is not that place - fair food for big cost. Over cooked fried eggplant/ spaghetti carbonara bland and and sky high whiskey prices. Spend your cash somewhere you will love the food

I went to Morandi for the second time and it was as good as the first. The place is rustic and cozy. We had the fried calamari and for an app, which was good, and the minestrone soup with the pesto on top was to die for!!! We had the spaghetti with white clam sauce for an app also, it... More

Morandi is one of those warm cozy places with magnetic atmosphere and food energy that says come to me. We were a large family group served with flexible patience and a dollop of family love. The eggs and omelettes were excellent and the bruschetta was amazing. I want to go back. Oh and I did meet Henry winkler there, so... More

Met friends at this chic, and apparently very crowded even on a Tuesday night, restaurant. Food was tasty and service was good. Value was quiet equal to the quality. Can get really noisy but overall enjoyable.

My family and I celebrated. a special birthday at Morandi's with a Sinday brunch. The italian breakfast/brunch. menu is different and very delicious. Italian crepes with prosciutto and fontina were a big hit. Also bruschetta with honey and ricotta. We arrived at 11:30 with a reservation. Got very crowded after 12. Service was good, but kitchen was slow for some... More

We were a party of about 15 people, had a reservation for Sunday brunch in this very cozy Italian restaurant. Service was very good even though our party was big. Food was very good, especially the lemon ricotta crepes, very light and flavorful.

Great atmosphere, warm and cosy particularly for the cold night. Obviously very popular and busy but still great service. Delicious choices of meals/wine and desserts-yummy bread also-would go again and thoroughly recommend to all.

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
