We spent a nice evening at Natsumi with an excellent Tuna Tataki with great and new spices, Salmon sashiki which was excellent as well, new taste, great stuff. Natsumi Roll is a spicy tuna roll which you have to try, the other rolls also very good taste and spices. I liked that you get some new inspirations on your plate,... More

I joined a friend for lunch here and we both had sushi ..... and both enjoyed thoroughly. We order a combination of 3 rolls (called maki combo I think) and selected those that included prawns and salmon. The presentation was lovely and the food was delicious. I'd happily return.

Had great sushi (and my non-sushi husband had just fish). Comfortable restaurant with multiple sushi offerings- my daughter and I shared several.

Our 4th night in New York and we thought we would go for some Sushi. After much research we chose Natsumi. Sushi starter was excellent as was the hand roll that came with it. The half bottle of Veuve Cilquot for $46 was also excellent. All was good until the main (entree) arrived before we had finished the starter (appetisers)... More

The sushi was so-so. The service was awful. I ordered a mixed vodka drink, the server named off a few brands. I said whatever your house vodka is, she said is Absolute okay, I said if that's the house vodka. This is my usual drink and had gotten it at a few different places in NYC, the prices were between... I trusted other reviewers and came to this restaurant with high expectations.. the place has a very nice ambiance but the tables are really close to each other .The service is good and attentive. We ordered appetizer for starters , seaweed salad and tuna tartare which we really liked, as the green tea margarita. The rolls also very good, the wolf... More

I had high hopes. The great reviews on this site convinced me to go here but food was marginal. Spinach gomai was overdressed and very salty. Some of the fish tasted a bit off. Took about 20 minutes for the waitress to come by and take our drink order, even though the restaurant was half full. Then it took another... More

I heard a lot of good words about this restaurants so we took a lunch here. The service was ok - the plates was dirty when we came - we got new ones which also was a little dirty - not normal for a japanese owned restaurant. The food was ok - but ot as you expect from a high... More

For a rainy Tuesday in March, I wasn't in the mood to dine out, but didn't want to order room service either. I found Natsumi online, and placed a take-out order easily. It was ready in less than 20 minutes, and it was a short walk from the Marriott Marquis. The "Chef's Special", as printed on the menu, was termed... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
