I went there for my birthday for the prix fix, thinking the food would be good and special, and was very disappointed with every course on the prix fix. The appetizer and dessert was inedible. The management saw our disappointment, and came over to offer...More

Glad we made reservations for Taboon. Place is intimate & gets booked up quite quickly. Managed to get a sidewalk table which is great for people watching & even traffic gets interesting when you witness a car driving the wrong way down a one way...More

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. We had reservations and were seated outside as it was a nice, warm evening. We had the Taboon Trio to start and I had the Chicken Maschan as a main (along with a couple of nice...More

We have a meal here almost every time we are in New York. The food is great, lots of wonderful combinations. Lots of vegetarian options as well. Service is always amazing and friendly. Great outdoor seating. Definitely one of my favorites!

We eat a lot of middle eastern food and this is one of our favorites in NYC. Among the highlights were cauliflower hummus and tzatziki and the bread. I'd say the challenge is trying all the appetizers and not getting too full before the main...More

Okay Mezzes, but nothing special. The octopus was well prepared and the foccia was very nice. Only problem I have is excessive use of salt on every dish. Had a nice bottle of Spanish wine service was very attentive good vibe to the place. Cooking...More

Love this restaurant. We tried many things -- bread with various dips (whipped feta and baba ganoush are great); lamb meatballs, octopus, chicken (served on great bread with caramelized onions and spices) and the best thing was the crab schwarma. Loved this dish, so different...More
