This place looked nice, popular and well catered for. The food was OK when it came - we had 3 lunches, 3 desserts and 3 drinks. Staff were friendly, but nearly had a cardiac arrest when the bill turned up for $97!!! There were 2 additional taxes on there which didn't make sense, just be warned if you are going... More

Good location a cross the avenue from the UN. Typical New York diner with an OK menu. You get fast service and you don't need to wait for the food.

I went here with my daughters and friends many times. We especially liked their breakfasts on Sunday mornings. My friend said the bacon and maple syrup with French toast was divine. Their omelettes are great too.

Nothing special, nor anything bad about this diner. Pretty much as you'd expect in NYC. Convenient to the United Nations. Comfortable. Fast. Safe.

This place has been there forever, one of the old-fashioned Manhattan cafes that are open all the time, serve breakfast all day long and can come up with anything from omelets and grapefruit for breakfast to burgers and salads and soups to a glass of inexpensive wine or beer. Taking advantage of their closeness to the UN location (cute little... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
