Can be hard to find but ask for directions when you are in the hotel and you will not regret the experience of graffiti walls, good burgers in a space as big as your lounge room .....literally

We heard about this little gem of a burger restaurant in the Lonely planet guide. It was cool to discover this joint in the hotel and we enjoyed the little wait before hand. It really annoyed us that they wouldn't accept our tip by card (which delayed our payment) and the menu was very limited. Staff were keen to tell... More

Went here, mostly out of curiosity, after reading some reviews on the web. This is really just a small burger stand packed into a back room at the hotel. I only found it after seeing people walking through the lobby with bags of French fries. Eventually, I saw a small neon, hamburger sign and assumed, that this must be the... More

This place was literally a hole in the wall and the only food group they offered was a burger or a cheese burger and then you choose your fixings. Oh yes they serve FF too and beer I think. It was truly a tasty, juicy, delicious burger with fries. If your lucky you can find a table to sit or... More

I haven't waited so long to be disappointed since Star Wars Episode One came out. It's a standard 30-45 minute velvet-rope wait that leads to a small, crowded room and a tiny kitchen that churns out burgers no better than Five Guys. If you're near the Parker Meridien, skip lunch and eat breakfast at Norma's -- which is a meal... More

Be prepared to stand in line and ready to pounce on a table when one becomes free. These are bugers like I used to have when I was a kid...juicy and yummy. No ceremony here folks, step up to the counter and shout what you want. Not a big choice but you don't need a big choice. The burgers are... More

We weren't able to make it to the Burger Joint on our last trip to Le Parker Meredien, so we made it a point to get some this time around. It was fantastic. The burgers were great and 4 of us shared 2 fries, which were tasty and plenty. We got back home yesterday, and I sure wish I could... More

We were told about this place but couldn't find it, so we asked, and got directed to the most obscure corner of the hotel. If you expect something upmarket and posh, then this is not it. However, it's good, honest, tasty food, the atmosphere is great and the servers looked like they enjoyed having fun photo bombing peoples pictures. Great... More

This is a strange little place tucked into a corner, hidden behind some curtains, next to concierge desk of the Le Parker Meridian. The atmosphere is intentionally downscale slumming sheik (limited seating, limited menus written in crayon on cardboard, writing all over walls) but prices are not (in our case about $38 for one order of fries, one shake and... I had heard about this place ages ago and was eager to try it out. I was not disappointed as the burger was very good. As you are queuing up you fill in the checklist of your order, what fixings you want in the bun, how you like you burger and whether what drinks and sides you want. We arrived... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
