I visited with a friend during a few days in New York. We came across this place by chance and enjoyed a couple of lovely cocktails. I also sampled the giant pretzel with cheddar dipping sauce and my friend had a salad. Both were delicious...More

Relatives had told me to go here, recommending the beer. Even though upstairs was not busy, was shown to a table in the basement bar. Fair play, the beer was great. I cannot say the same for the chilli or atmosphere. Service was ok. If...More

My young son and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there last Monday. It's a very comfortable restaurant conveniently located right next to the Empire State Building. The food is good and service is superb and the bathrooms aren't messy!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner mostly because it's a brewery, but the food was great! I had the southern fried chicken platter and he had the rotisserie chicken.

We stopped here for a drink and a quick bite to eat, rather than a full meal. We were able to order a plate of three sliders to share. Staff were obliging and didn't mind that we didn't want to order a full meal. New...More

The restaurant is pretty large. There are a lot of tables upstairs and an even larger area downstairs. They take reservations, but you probably don't need one.

I paid $8 for a pint of the oatmeal stout. The beer was good, though pricey by my standards.

New York City's most famous landmark, the Empire State Building, now houses New York's number one brewery, a two-story 450-seat Heartland equipped with two large bars and four giant flat-screen TV's. Our full-service restaurant breathes new life into an area overrun with fast food chains. More than just a watering hole with great beer, we offer both visitors and locals excellent food and a feeling of home that only Heartland can offer.
