I usually go to the Nobu downtown but was in the neighborhood and stopped here. Each item we ordered was much more salty than at the downtown location that I could not eat most items. I have been eating the lobster salad for decades and...More

The food and service were great, can definitely recommend the soft shell crab. The 4 stars reflects the fact we unfortunately sat near a large group of noisy and disrespectful to other diners and the staff. High prices don’t always attract quality customers.....

The first uptown New York location by legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa, opened to much anticipation in the summer of 2005. Nobu's co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurant showcases Nobu's signature New Style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso, and new creations from the wood burning oven and the hibachi table.
