Eat here quite often and always when attending a show at TOWN HALL. It's a lot of fun with great mussels, excellent pommes frites with mayonnaise and a terrific selection of beers. Service is excellent (never heard a server once say "You Got It" or "No Problem" when you place your order, just a simple "Thank You". Reservations are suggested... More

We reserved and were surprised it looked more like a bar than restaurant when we walked in. The table service is at the back and the claustrophobic need not dine there. Packed in tables gave it a bustling vibe and service was very good. My mussels were plump and not overcooked. The fries were not original Belgian fries - a... More

America is not very known for good quality craft beer, so if you like craft beer and you find a place like this you have to go! A good choice of authentic, belgium beer. Good atmosphere, and a short distance from Times Square makes this a perfect little place. Didn't try the food, so I cannot say anything about this.

Cute pub with good food. I took my almost 80 year old mother there and it was tough for her to hear. Other than that, friendly staff with good food at reasonable prices. The lunch special is a great deal too!

Although a good range of continental beers on tap the main focus seemed to be European soccer. Not my taste hence the rating

We stopped in here as we were walking near Times Square as it looked intriguing and they advertised an $18 lunch with a starter, a main course and wine or beer. We had crudités, a lentil soup and two versions of moules and frites. The food was good other than the soup, which was quite unremarkable. The sauces for the... More

I was definitely looking forward to having some mussels here but left feeling disappointed. I ordered the Thai Mussels with "frites". The mussels came in a very, very watery (almost clear) broth with a drizzle of Thai "sauce" on top. The "frites" were thick-cut, undercooked French fries served with mayonnaise. I ordered blue cheese to dip my fries in because... More

Stopped in on a Thursday night for a drink as we were just walking around town looking for someplace to go. Grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered two club sodas and absolute orange. Not too bad, not hugh glasses but not tiny either. $9 each not too bad for what it was. Nice music playing bartenders friendly nice and... More

Awesome little gem in the middle of otherwise unpleasant times square. Always bustling with very friendly staff. Great beer selection. Very good food!

We really enjoyed the mussels and the rotisserie chicken at BXL. Service was overall good. Giving it a 3 stars because even though we had made a reservation and were seated promptly by the hostess, we were kicked off the table because the manager had friends coming in later and he wanted to make sure the table was available. AND... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
