My husband and I generally have one meal here every year when we visit New York. This year I ate here alone while he was running the NYC Marathon. As always, the food was great, and the service was prompt and friendly. This place is a sure bet.

Very noisy, busy, but with friendly staff and patrons to make it a fun place to experience NYC. We didn't have reservations but found a spot at the bar. Our dinner was delicious and priced right. The friendly bartender and fellow diners made it a memorable evening. Extensive menu from which to choose.

Really good food in portions meant for sharing. Good atmosphere and great waiting staff. Only tiny criticism was it was difficult to hear each other.

We love this place, and went twice on this visit as our friends loved it to. You must book before you travel. This is typical Italian New York family dinning. It's what you would expect to find... Food portions are designed for you to share so listen to you waiter who are great at advising you on what eat. There... More

Make a reservation! We made a reservation and got in right away. It was two adults and a 6 year old. HUGE plates. Will serve 2-3 people. Hot bread. A little cramped and loud, but aren't all NYC eateries. We had the salad special...cucumbers, tomatoes and a firm ricotta. Very fresh and crunchy. The chicken piccata was good. 4 breasts,... More

Went to Tony's the first night of our East Coast vacation after flying in from Los Angeles. Food, ambiance, and service were all excellent. Recommend that you go with the servers recommendations, they were all accurate. Very large portions make this restaurant a good value. You won't leave hungry!

We checked Tony's out on trip advisor before going and reviews seemed motivating. When we first went in we loved the ambiance. Although it was a week day I'd say at least 90% of the tables were occupied. We already knew that portions were huge so we ordered 1 appetizer and 1 main course. We LOVED the House Salad it... More

Tony's Di Napoli -Midtown serves great food, has a fun family atmosphere and a great staff. We wanted a traditional meal because we had just returned from a two week trip to Italy and wanted my birthday dinner to be as good as the meals in Italy. At Tony's, we had a great salad that was tossed at the table,... More

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
