Was in NYC for only a couple of days, dinner with friends. First we didn't notice pasta dishes were platters to share and thought it was rather expensive. The waiter quickly explained the menu. Ordered 2 pasta dishes for 4 and a salad to share,...More

This is a great old style Italian restaurant with traditional decor, proper tablecloths and cutlery and efficient service. It was busy when we visited for lunch, but we were seated quickly and our orders taken. The menu offers a good choice and wine is available...More

What a wonderful restaurant and just great food. I was going to go to Carmines and decided to try Tony's. I'm so glad that we chose this restaurant. The food was divine. Had chicken francese, chicken parmesan, fettuccine alfredo and penne alla Vodka for dinner....More

We walked into this large, fairly noisey and busy restaurant at near midnight. There was a good atmosphere, many celebrity photos and character cartoons on the walls. I assume they have eaten there. The meals are designed to be shared between 3 or more people...More

First of all this restaurant was so noisy, that we had trouble talking to each other. Our 3 year old was holding his hands over his ears because of the noise. But that was not the worst part. The food was so terrible, that it...More

For people who have a large appetite, Tony's is the place to be! But for me, I can't even have 1/3rd of a dish. When you're dining with a larger group where u can taste a couple of things, it's the place to dine in...More

We went to Di Napoli's on the suggestion of our hotel concierge for a before theater dinner. The place was jammed, so it was a good thing we had a reservation. The atmosphere is quite loud and bustling. The service was prompt and efficient. The...More

We were warned before going there that the portions were huge - that's an understatement. It is best to share a meal with your companions, especially if you are unable to take the leftovers. Since I can't eat garlic, they were able to "customize" a...More

Reasonably priced typical Italian fare that is satisfactorily delicious. Typical noisy NYC ambiance, so do not anticipate the conversation. Unqualified recommendation.

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.
