Went to King's Carriage House with some family for afternoon tea. I've never done afternoon tea! I'm a southerner, for cryin' out loud. But this was a fun experience. As many have noted here, King's is quite small. We were led upstairs, where there was...More

Warm lovely atmosphere, especially appreciated on a cold rainy afternoon.. The scones were sublimely flaky and buttery. Sesame chicken salad sandwiches were amazing. The service was excellent.Highly recommended.

The most charming restaurant to have high tea in Manhattan. Excellent service, perfect selection of open sandwiches, scones with fresh cream, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and petit fours. But it is the setting where this takes place that nakes this a unique experience.
