Had a wonderful evening at the Blue Note watching the legend that is Roy Ayres and his world class band. Great selection of beers and wines and excellent though pricey dishes. But I really enjoyed my New York cheesecake in New York!

First off, I went to listen to Rachelle Ferrell, who was phenomenal. However, the food was not. I arrived 2 hours early before the show and ordered the pork tenderloin. It was served with caramelized apples that unfortunately had a hair in it. When I...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Shows are at 9:00 pm and 11:00pm, you can get there at 7:30/8:00pm in case you want to eat, otherwise just half an hour earlier.
