Really good atmosphere, great service and choices to satisfy a vegetarian and an omnivore. My baked lamb chops with baked potato were very good. Partner's stuffed peppers were a little bland, but ok. Decent food, good service and great atmosphere make this a place not...More

We went here for dinner after a hot walk through Central Park. The staff is very friendly but the food is nothing special. We ordered buttermilk chicken. The white gravy was pretty bland, the food was scorching hot, however overall the dish just lacked flavour....More

The best pancakes! This is a short review- just GO! Lovely staff. The yummiest breakfast- I had seasonal fruit pancakes one day (blueberry) and walnut and banana the other day.

I went with my family, group of 6 and 2 baby’s . I will say was expecting something better. Food quality is good and nice flavor. However probably lacks of restaurant management skills. Why i said that? We went there and ask for a table,...More

The name speaks for itself - good enough to eat AND the price is reasonable. The selections vary on a day to day basis. They change the menu frequently. Staff are friendly and the place is very accessible by train or cab service.

Food is good, the manager Rachel is not. Most everyone at this restaurant is kind and it's a great family spot. But Rachel, in our experience is rude, oddly condescending and totally unaware of the experience of her customers. She turned on a high pitched...More

Description
Today, visitors from all over the world—English, German, French, Japanese—still come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars,” enjoying wholesome, mouth-watering (and ample) plates such as Macaroni and Cheese, Lemon Parmesan Chicken, Pecan Trout, Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Fries, the now legendary Meatloaf and Turkey Dinners, and Peach Pie with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing – both here and in cultures across the globe. And we at The Restaurant Group still carry out Carrie Levin’s mission to satisfy that hunger at Good Enough to Eat.
