I'd seen this restaurant recommended in a guide book, so we called for a mid-afternoon meal when we were in the area. All the tables for 4 were full, but instead of being asked to wait we were asked if we'd be happy to eat...More

We randomly came here because we liked it from the outside, and we didn't regret our chiuse! So many options to decide what to order for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I ended up getting a strawberry waffle, which was very tasty and my friend got eggs and toast...More

Great atmoshpere. Good food and prices reasonable as you get lots on your plates. The omelette is delicious. Clean restrooms. One slightly minor point is that we sat at our table for at least 10 miuntes. We were ignored as there were no servers.

Description
Today, visitors from all over the world—English, German, French, Japanese—still come to Good Enough to Eat to enjoy classic American food. They sit side by side with Upper West Side “regulars,” enjoying wholesome, mouth-watering (and ample) plates such as Macaroni and Cheese, Lemon Parmesan Chicken, Pecan Trout, Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Fries, the now legendary Meatloaf and Turkey Dinners, and Peach Pie with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. The appetite for wholesome, authentic, traditional American food only seems to be growing – both here and in cultures across the globe. And we at The Restaurant Group still carry out Carrie Levin’s mission to satisfy that hunger at Good Enough to Eat.
