Would you like some attitude with your order? This place is overrated and sucks!!! Avoid! It's as if you are honored to be spending your money in their coffee shop.

My husband and I were at the Union Square Market and it was raining so we went across the street to get coffee. We were pleasantly surprised with the live music playing and a packed restaurant bustling with locals. We had a great meal and the homemade pumpkin pie was to die for. We were pleasantly surprised to have a... More

The waitresses are grass thin young maidens that wave past your table, ignoring you. The food is a weird combo of American diner and Cuban? South American? Oh, I am so sorry I'm not sure. It is a cuisine that favors black beans and everything on the menu from this cuisine is delicious. The other side - the diner side... More

Had breakfast here a couple of times, couldn't fault the food or service, I so loved the green juice! I would recommend anyone, alone or with family to go.

I really enjoyed the vibe and energy here. The food is not really memorable and the service only okay but really enjoyed the pulse.

Every time I visit New York City I love going to dinner at the coffee shop! It is a good restaurant and bar but has a diner vibe to the place! The food is great, fast and I love that it is always busy even at the late hours of the night. I would extremely recommend to visitors of NYC... More

I visited the coffee bar with no expectations what so ever and so wasn't disappointed. To be honest I was probably far more interested in my date than the place, but I found this place to have a very comfortable and exciting atmosphere on the Saturday night that I visited. We only had drinks at the bar but my date... More

Came here for a quick breakfast one day through the week since we were waiting for the shops to open at 10am. Since it was our first time at NY, we walked in and weren't sure if we had to seat ourselves or someone showed you to a table. Literally walked through the front door (wasn't busy), but the entrance... More

A bit of nostalgia mixed with great coffee, great service and a great menu selection. We were here for brunch on Sunday and loved it. It FELT like a place I would have visited in the 1950s. I had the french toast and REAL maple syrup and the others had omelettes and we all enjoyed our choices. Very attentive wait... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
