After an afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, we were hungry and wanted to try a restaurant recommended on television featuring pastrami. Pastrami Queen on the upper East Side was within walking distance of the museum. More often than not recommendations on tv are...More

If you are planning to visit New York, you can't avoid to taste the best Pastrami in the world at Pastrami Queen! You don't have to be influenced by the place, which is very small and anonymous: the pastrami is really gorgeous!

The Royal combo sandwich was enough for two ladies to share. We also added an apple strudel for Dessert which was good as well, remember to ask for it warmed up. We stumbled upon this but would definitely go back. Prices are on the high...More

Everything is huge and expensive, but still good. Share with a partner or plan to have a meal for later. Tried the pastrami, soup, and garlic fries - all good, but not fives.

Yeah, Midwestern tourist complaining about New York City Prices. It helped that my wife and I split the sandwich and potato pancake (both were huge, the potato pancake was about the size of two russet potatoes). I wouldn't say that it was bad, but the...More
