Fun place. Lively, happy, good food, reasonable prices. Food is good, not great, but who cares? Enjoy!

Delicious food paired with great bottles of wine made our evening great. One plate serves two for sure! Please do stop by if you find yourself in the area. Walk-Ins are always welcome but I highly recommend you make a reservation.

Bring your appetite and loads of friends. Family style Italian. Food is definitely not the best Italian I've ever had but the vibe is super fun and once you have wine, who can tell anyway?

this is the kind of place you go with a group of people and each order a different dish so that you can share. its a bit loud in the dining room, but the food is well worth the trip.

Crazy busy, but efficient. Can't beat the prices and food quality. The 91 st and Broadway worth the extra drive.

They got this nailed. Its good and formula. Family style portions of Neapolitan funk that's amazingly well done for a restaurant of this size and turnover. This is a great place to go if your deaf or hoping to lose your hearing. For families its fabulous because you can hate everyone, try to listen in earnest and never hear a... More

Would have to be a NYC institution. A huge Italian restaurant full of chatter and fun with so much food you could never finish it. TIP: order one dish per course and share and maybe you will get through the meal. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. It is so big some of the menus on the walls cannot... More

What a great find. We are all happy we decided to try this place. It was great that our hotel had a refrig. so we could take our leftovers back home with us and enjoy another night at home. We ordered the chicken parm, rigatoni al vodka and a steak that had peppers and onions and wow what a steak.... More

Description
Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
