Typical greek food. The service is really nice and quick. The plates were tasty and the quality of the food was present.

Elite ’17 4.0 star rating 2/13/2017 1 check-in We enjoyed eating here at The Greek Kitchen. We made reservations and were seated straight away. They were full except for our table located on the patio which was glassed in and covered. The server attended to our drink order fairly fast and brought out some greek french fries sprinkled with oregano.... More

Although the fare is a little pricier than most Greek places, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. The gyro plater is HUGE and piled high with meat. Just don't get an appetizer with it, or you will need a to-go bag. Great place for a business lunch. Good value, friendly service, great location.

Had lunch here. Had the middle eastern salad with grilled chicken. Food was good. Portion was generous and included pita bread. Service was helpful.

Upon entrance we were sized up for the worst table, outside by door, they actually looked me up and down. When asked for water to start, he sent another server to take over. Didn't see anyone till the water was gone to get order. then another server, not that it was busy. Only time some one came by was to... More

First time visit, and it was wonderful. Food was fresh, hot, tasty and abundant. The place was full, but not too loud, could sit back and enjoy the Greek music and watch the city sidewalks from my table.

I was meeting a friend for dinner in the City and got this place as a recommendation from someone who lived there. It had all of the classic Greek dishes you would think of, as well as quite a few that most places don't do. The portions are ample and the staff was attentive. It's a great place to have... More

The ambiance is very pleasant and perfect for a lunch. The food was, at best, mediocre Salad was overdressed, the moussaka (both meat and vegetarian) were dry and rather flavorless, and the service was non existent . i had to asked 3 different servers to get a second glass of ice tea. It eventually came. it was not a refill... More

Visited today with a large party of friends and family (10 total). Food was great. Waitress had a bit of an attitude, though. Very unfortunate for an otherwise lovely early dinner. The Nisyros Makaronada was deliciously prepared.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
