I cannot convey the richness and warmth of this place. Elegant and subdued, but there was a sense of vibrancy surrounding us. The food was utterly beautiful in presentation and the tastes were superb. I had a tuna carpaccio, by far the best I have ever had.

Lattanzi is unusual in that it prepares cuisine to commemorate the Jewish holiday of Passover with a menu that is reflective of what would have been served in Italy for countless generations of diners.... truly a rarity for a New York restaurant. We also have gone there for a regular Italian dinner and the food was equally delicious. The lamb... More

Last year (2016) was my first visit to Lattanzi. A very good lunch with polite and efficient service. A very good option for lunch. Have not been for dinner however, look forward to returning. Lunch or dinner!

My wife and I joined another couple for a wonderful meal before we headed off to see the Billy Joel concert. The home made gnocchi were beyond delicious. The deserts were fresh and light. This will become my go-to Italian restaurant whenever I am staying in New York.

A beautiful restaurant with very good food. The caprese salad actually had warm mozzarella. That was my high point. Loved it. I also had the grilled veal chop which was good, but not the best I've had. My husband had lasagna which he enjoyed.

We visited Lattanzi after seeing Hamilton with a party of nine. Good solid Italian food, nice wine selection. Mushroom raviolis were very good. Save room for dessert - the sorbets were wonderful - mango, pineapple and lemon. Convenient walkable location. Attentive staff.

The food was great, but the service was a little slow. We tried a variety of things: salads, pasta, fish, & grilled meat. Everything was flavorful & portions were large. A few things you'd expect to find like a meat & cheese antipasto plate are absent, but specials made up for it. Definitely tell them if you have theater tickets.... More

A great pre-theater restaurant--with a variety of old-fashioned Italian food (and atmosphere) and quick attentive service. And a must-try: the signature dish of sauteed artichokes, "Jewish style." One for a table of three was just right.

A group of friends traveled to NYC for a theatre weekend. Since I had dined here before, I recommended we start our weekend with dinner at Lattanzi! It did not disappoint! Intimate setting as only NYC restaurants can do. Great ambiance, quiet dining for conversation. Wonderful entree choices and great wine list with attentive but not intrusive service on top.... More

Now in the 25th year, this "winning" Restaurant Row Italian is renowned for its "Roman style specialties". (Don't miss "those fried artichokes"), "gracious services" and "after the theater" crowd departs for a more relaxed meal.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
