My grand daughter and I went to this restaurant because we both like Mexican food and it was close to where we were staying. The decor looked inviting and we were excited to be seated right away. Our order was taken, food delivered and we...More

I’ve been here many times and always loved the food and atmosphere. Came for brunch and quite disappointed with the service. Our drinks arrived after the entrees. When my entre arrived, I had to ask for the cornbread that came with it. So that cane...More

Nice place for a group of 6 friends to eat before heading to Lincoln Center. The food and service were both very good. We recommend the authentic guacamole and the pork shark.

Opened in 2000, this Lincoln Center stalwart continues to provide a fun dining experience pre-concert, theater or whatever. I'm guessing I've been here 10 times over the years and have never had a bad experience. You sit comfortably, the tables are nicely spaced for privacy,...More

Went there without a reservation on Father's Day and wait staff was quick to accommodate us. Found us a table for 4 as long as we promised to vacate in 1 hour, and treated us like family. Food was great, close and relaxing after tour...More

We had a very tasty lunch. Table-side guacamole was delicious (but expensive - $16!), and all of the entrees were authentic and very tasty.

I would say the guacamole is fun to have prepared table-side, but expensive for a one-avocado guac (and a little bland, if I'm honest). The entrees were very good (expensive though, understandable being across from the Met) and my daughter POUNDED her carnitas. I had...More

Sorry guys but this was not good, not good at all. We are here a few years ago and remembered we had a great meal! They must have changed chefs because this time it was not good. The 3 different enchiladas were recommended, but forget...More

Our highly anticipated second Rosa Mexicano location opened in July 2000. Just steps away from Lincoln Center, this impressive David Rockwell-designed space features a 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall that spans both levels of the restaurant and is adorned with 240 miniature cliff divers. Here you’ll also find a dramatic “floating” staircase made of orange and red terrazzo slabs and backlit panels behind the bar embedded with rose petals. Awarded “Best Restaurant 2000” by Interiors Magazine, this unique, contemporary look ushered in a new era for us at Rosa Mexicano.
