From the sauce to the cheese, this is one of my least favorite pizza spots. In an area full of pizza, keep walking and find something better.

Wow! I never expected to find a pizza joint that specializes in pizza with a New Orleans flair. Delicious!

We all know what great NYC pizza is like - and this pizza is nothing like it, except it too is great, tho totally different. The thin crust, the cornmeal on the bottom, the "special" slices. Not your usual "pepperoni" options. Representing the two boots of Italy and Lousiana, there's a cajun twang to the pizza, which goes great with... More

We stopped there with the family for a quick lunch bite on a very hot day, on our way to East Village. First of all, the place is funnily decorated, a kind of Latino - beatnik revival. Yet neat. A little smelly, but, we'll, it's a pizza place, not a 5th Avenue restaurant. The welcome was relaxing and very professional... More

Nice pizza place, wouldn't run out of my way to go hear. But if ur a few blocks away it's worth a visit. They have a decent selection of slices (inc vegan, gluten free) which are reasonably priced

We checked it out after a few drinks at UCB. It's not bad but it's certainly not the best either. You won't regret eating there but you won't tell your friends about it.

I called into Two Boots pizza during a weekend visit to NY. I visited the one on Bleecker Street. The pizza slices were warmed very quickly and delicious. Just what I needed for lunch. Excellent service.

This was recommended by a resident, and we enjoyed its 'folk art' ambiance and pop-culture references in their pizza combinations; where else can you order a 'Larry Tate'? The slices were generously sized and warmed up thoroughly. There were thicker-crusted pizzas for those who aren't into folding their slice, along with chicken and vegetarian options. We swapped three varieties among... More

I bought a slice of the Vanguard and had intended to share it with my husband... But after two bites I knew I couldn't hand it over so he lined up and bought his own! Delicious! And I don't normally love pizza this much!

Recommended by a local friend in NYC, this pizza shop didn't disappoint me. I went to the one in Bleecker Street. It's a small & busy shop. You can order slices with different favor or one whole. They heat the pizza before serving. I tried 3 types & all of them were good! Nearby the pizza shop there're quite a... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
