8:30 reservations on Saturday night, really crowded and hostess handled our brief wait well. You are advised to go next store for a drink, which isn’t a bad alternative. 80’s rock music was a nice backdrop. Broccoli appetizer was excellent and salad was good. Butternut...More

Always my go to spot for dinner my first night in the city. Great Chelsea location, comfortable spot for a solo diner. Wide variety on the menu--- I've never had a disappointing meal and the service is great.

I have been here many times and their sister restaurants. Although it is not a Michelin 3 stars , it is definitely a very good one. Excellent food and very attentive service. Price is also reasonable.

We recently had lunch at The Red Cat and the food and service were very good. The bacon is to die for. No issues or complaints. We highly recommend. A well run restaurant.

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful
brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most
popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s
jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The
contemporary art scene is an integral part of the
neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost
every night of the week and countless exhibits to
explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York

This Old Chelsea food hall is a New York original. The Red Cat's combination of come-as-you-are sensibilities and straightforward, satisfying, and occasionally irreverent cuisine instantly establish the restaurant as a favorite with New York diners. As Frank Bruni wrote in the New York Times, "The Red Cat feels vaguely colonial and tavern like, except when it feels downtown-gallery cool, and apart from those moments when it feels modestly and eclectically elegant."
