We researched the restaurant on trip advisor and found it was walking distance from the hotel. We particularly liked the pricing where you get a family size portion for a little more than the individual price. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. It's next Q stop on 96th street and 2nd avenue

I recently stayed in NYC for a week-long visit. My hotel was across the street from Nick's. I ate there three times! The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I had spaghetti and meatballs with a side of asparagus at one meal and I had real New York pizza on the other two visits.... More

We ate there twice and both times the food and service were very good. I would not recommend the sausage and rabe pasta as the sausage was overcooked (almost burnt) in my opinion. The pizza and seafood pasta dishes were very good. The penne vodka was good, too.

We were hungry and wanted something quick and easy, so we went into the restaurant nearest to our hotel. We didn't not expect to get such a delicious dinner of pasta and chicken! Very pleased, and had lots of leftovers for next day!

We arrived in New York late (UK time) and needed something to eat before getting some rest. It was really good Italian food and we had some fabulous pasta dishes. The food was that good we even took a calzone home as a takeaway. Yes they do takeaway which looked really busy.

Stopped by after a day of shopping. It was cold outside but nice and warm inside especially because of the brick oven. We ordered the mushroom pizza with a family salad. The crust was cooked perfectly...slightly crisped and tender in the center. There was plenty of mushrooms and just enough cheese. We also had wine and beer. Perfect ending to... More

Happened upon Nick's while in NYC for business. Really good calzone (marinara a tad bland) but the pasta dishes being served around me looked AMAZING. The other people in my party raved about the chicken parm. Will definitely return.

I was there with my boyfriend for a casual dinner while in NYC. We ordered some Fettuccini Alfredo because we are so in love with pasta. The server recommended us the family size version. The meal was great. It was totally worth the money. The atmosphere was chill, laid back.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
