We had dinner with family on a Sunday evening. The place was very quite. The personnel was very nice to us and the kids. The entrees are large portions that can be shared with younger folks. It is very nice to be able to see the chef cooking across a window and seeing him putting meat as well as bread... More

Went to the lunch buffet. Much on the menu. I don't know what most of it (food names) was but it was delicious. Indian food is sweet savory blend of spices that complements the food. Found chicken lamb vegetarian. All very good. Highly recommended.

Our lunch on the 2nd day, at New York City was at Salam Bombay, situated at 319, Greenwich Street. The location is well with in the city, yet there was not much din and rush.. The ambiance of the restaurant was soothing; neat and clean. There was a full loaded bar also. The wide spread of food varieties, both veg... More

Had the lunch buffet ($14.94++). Decent variety, food was fresh... Nothing stood out as outstanding, but there were no regrets and we'll be back.

Went to this place for lunch with wife & other family members. Had to go here, as veggie (both myself & wife & family members) after visiting Times Square, Hershey's shops & new World Trade centre observatory which is called One World Observatory or One Freedom Plaza observatory.. Only buffet spread was available & "a la carte" was not available.... More

We were a group of 50 peoples visited this restaurent both for dinner & breakfast, taste is good but not excellent. Some of the dishes were not fresh. In the breakfast they make Alloo Bonda which was good. Tea was also good. Overall it is a OK OK type.

Pretty close to the heart of downtown, but on a slightly quieter street. I go on-and-off to Salaam Bombay a few times each year, and usually enjoy a great meal. The Chicken Tikka Massala is a standout staple for me, but I also enjoy the Lamb Gosht (a spinach sauce). Service is good, but weekend lunch can sometimes be mobbed... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
