My partner and I had been told to visit Frying Pan on Pier 66 by a friend who had been. We had lunch (the most incredible beef brisket!) and drinks sat at the end of the boat in the sunshine. It was a really love way to wallow away a few hours. I would love to visit later in the... More

The Frying Pan has amazing drinks and an amazing ambiance. It is beautiful in the summer time to be on the boat with friends after work. It is a hip, young crowd.

I came here to visit the boat. Unfortunately it had closed for the year and I was left very disappointed. We stayed for a drink and to be fair, the service was fine, the view and surroundings were great.

We came across this ship as we were walking along the river. What a cool place on the river with great views. Food was great and its a great quirky venue. You place you order at the bar (you are given a buzzer) and collect food when ready from the kitchen area which is open for you to see. A... More

Great place to visit when NYC! Good cocktails on the river with a great view. V casual but a nice place to hangout. As for food I'm not sure but for drinks it's a good one.

My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary and my father mentioned we should check out the Frying Pan Light Ship. It was such a unique experience to be able to tour the belly of a ship that is a North Carolina legend. The drinks were awesome, the food super yummy and the view is unbeatable! Have already told... We love this place, great bar food, nothing too fancy, great selection of drinks, and atmosphere, could have a band playing more often and advertise it, such a great space!

Food and eating on the water is fantastic but JUST drink the beer or wine. Had 2 cocktails that I wonder if there really was alcohol added or just sugar water to cover the taste. Definitely NO NAME liquor. Sangria is just ok. Hopefully they don't water the beer or wine down. Will be back but just for food and... More
