We really enjoyed our evening here, the food was delicious, we had the fried rice which is a must have as well as the spring rolls and mushrooms (might be seasonal). The cocktails were also delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and beautifully decorated. I don’t...More

The staff was so helpful in making a little area for me to change my toddler in the ladies bathroom and super nice overall. The food was excellent. We chose a mix of small dishes which were great. A bit dark and some people had...More

This place is so good!! The service is great and the fish in banana leaves is like nothing you’ve had before. So tender and full of flavor. The fried rice is amazing as is most every other dish I’ve tried. They can make it spicy...More

Warm welcome for returning guest. Careful attention to mobility issues, though discreet and respectful. Ambience lovely...a great mix of family diners, young couples, friends and seniors. All diners seemed very involved with their menu choices, most leaving with takeaway boxes. Servers attentive but not overbearing....More

I had a great experience at Le Colonial, although the service could be better. The food was very good, the portions are pretty big, and the food is well seasoned. I loved the experience of being in a dimly lit environment, decorated in an old...More

Le Colonial is a beautiful, intimate small restaurant with impeccable service. We shared the chief's appetizer platter for four which included many of their spring rolls, soft rolls, etc which were quite good (although the reviewer, Heather, has a point...). Highlight was the fish entrees...More

My personal favorite is the Bo Luc Lac, seared filet mignon over water crest salad and lemon pepper vinaigrette, but the Vit Quay is pretty good too.

Le Colonial is a truly delightful culinary experience. Like stepping into French Colonial Southeast Asia, this two-story restaurant, designed by Greg Jordan, consists of a main dining room with louvered wall panels, colorful tile floors, and vintage photos of Vietnam. Upstairs is an elegant, but lively, lounge serving a full dinner or just appetizers and cocktails. The lounge serves as an ideal setting for private parties and business dinners. Le Colonial serves an authentic Vietnamese menu with an emphasis on fresh seafood, meats, and vegetables.
