We loved the decor of this place! We felt as though we stepped off the streets of NYC and into Brazil. The food was also very good and authentic. We came for brunch. Not too busy, were able to get in without a wait and...More

Dropped by for lunch and pitchers of drinks. Got a great seat outside. Fun and casual, would definitely go back.

Too noisy with loud music blasting. Could not carry a conversation. Poor service. Long wait for unappetizing food and to top it all, a dirty restroom.More

I had lunch here. Loved the neighborhood and they had outside seating. Service was good and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. I had a cubano sandwich which was very good and nice size. The side salad that came with it was good

Came here for lunch today at 2:15. Didn't seem overly busy but service was VERY slow, menu limited because Saturday and Sunday is only brunch food. The waitress didn't know the menu so couldn't answer any questions. The food was mediocre at best. Keep walking!More

I stopped in last night, before 6pm. I asked for a table for two. There may have been 10 customers sitting, tops. The manager said she couldn't accommodate me although the restaurant could easily sit another 30-40 ppl, not including outside seating. I told her...More

Casual, comfy indoor or outdoor seating. Service was good. Guacamole & chips were nice, but probably not homemade. Brussels sprout warm salad was okay, as was the burger. Roasted chicken was average. Had leftovers but didn't take home. Polled the family and two said 3.5...More

This was my first experience with a delicious Brazilian meal! The Feijoada -- pork and black bean stew -- was delicious! Be sure to put the spice topping on. We started with Mexilhoes, roasted mussels, and they were beautifully seasoned. A side of shaved brussel...More

Aside from an inexplicable five-minute gap between the arrival of my wife's caparinha and mine this was a satisfying meal. The drinks were sufficiently potent so I did not have to use the emergency rum supply in my pocket. The trio of ceviche and the...More

Went there for dinner on a Thursday night. Outdoor seating is quite nice. Definitely try their Caipirinhas, they were delicious (and strong). I went with their special that day. Crab meat cooked with coconut milk in a banana leaf. I have to say I was...More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,

old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
