Ate here for a special occasion on a Friday evening. The space is elegantly understated. We were seated almost immediately. From the beginning, our service was outstanding. Attentive without being intrusive. The food was great although we didn’t have a regular meal with apps and...More
Pricey but very solid seafood. The oysters were great. Main dinning room is pretty and very old school...lots of brass and marble. I think they do a big business lunch crowd. Easy to get a res on a weekend evening. Downstairs room had great jazz...More
This restaurant is in my top 10. Service is always impeccable. Sushi is the best I have ever had. Many sushi places use kani kama (imitation crab meat) as a filler for their rolls. This place used real knuckle crab meat. Just excellent sushi! For...More

From the outside it seemed like a nice fancy restaurant. For appetizer we ordered lobster roll. For $20 you would expect lobsters in it. As you can see in the photos below, it really felt like I was eating a hot dog bun with unknown...More
Had the metropolis sushi, scallops and a glass of wine. The food was very good. Flavorful but a little pricey. Nice environment with live jazz music downstairs.
