We had been wanting to go to the jazz brunch here for a while so we finally booked it. We were not disappointed. The venue is intimate and the jazz was delightful. We each had an omelet with a choice of 2 ingredients, side salad and french fries. A good bread basket is served prior to the meal with a... More

We stayed at the hotel, and tried out the restaurant when our feet hurt too much to go any further. Our waiter was good, but the food and beer were a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't bad, just...bland. Not much taste to it. Everything seemed well prepared and decked out, but it just didn't taste much. Of anything. Could... More

We stayed in the hotel and ate lunch at North Square. We had mushroom soup, beet salad and pear salad. Everything was fresh and savory. It was a very nice ambiance

The Sunday Jazz brunch is great - good music friendly staff and the food is super affordable compared to NY standards. I highly recommend!

A small bistro-like place, nice decor, interesting and good American-Continental menu, good prices and service. Also a great jazz brunch on Sundays.

This restaurant was a real surprise, as it is the ground floor of the Washington Square Hotel. (entrance by the side door or from the hotel lobby). The variety of food, service, and overall setting was impressive. I had dinner with a group of 6 and the table consensus was that the menu variety was good, service was impeccably attentive,... Imagine hearing that after just arriving from a 3000-mile flight and wondering if there are tables available. Plus, the food is wonderful, the service spectacular, and the staff outgoing and engaging. We never ate anywhere else and were perfectly happy about it.

This restaurant is attached to the Washington Square Hotel, on the ground floor. I went here for a meal one night and found that the staff in general were very helpful and friendly. The food is excellent but I wouldn't try eating here on a budget.

In the Washington Square Hotel, the cocktail lounge in the rear of this below-ground restaurant is a great ,nicely-appointed spot for a relaxed cocktail and a good bar menu. A true, out of the way, classic cocktail lounge.
