If you expect ultra high end servicing, the best steak and a classy modern NYC atmosphere, this is where you need to be. Definitely a tie in the top 3 NY steak houses, Del Friscos presents a more lively atmosphere and crowd. This is an excellent place to enjoy a dinner with your best client, best friend, or special person... More

The service and meal we had was amazing - once we got to the table. We had booked for 7.30 arrived with plenty on time and had to wait 45-50 minutes for our table to be available! The hostess on the front desk was lacking in charm and could do with a little customer service training! Once seated the experience... More

We probably visit Del Friscos 4 times a year at a minimum. The food, the atmosphere, it's always perfect. The steaks are grilled to perfection, never dried out and never tough. Although I do not eat my steak well done, my husband does. He says this is the only steakhouse that serves a juicy, well done steak. Not only are... More

My husband and I visited Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in early December. Their specialty is steak and that is why we visited. We made a reservation through open table. We arrived and were seated within five minutes. Decor is a trendy upscale appearance. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with great views of Sixth Avenue and Rockefeller Center. We both... More

Yes, this is a chain, but don't let that dissuade you from going here. It's a very busy restaurant but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reserved time. It's worth visiting for the atmosphere alone...glass walls and high ceilings envelope you with a view of the city. Our waiter, Brian, was a true professional and accommodated all of... More

We had excellent meals here, having made reservations on the recommendation of a colleague. Steaks and sides were excellent, and the staff was SUPER. I would have given this review a "5" rating except for two things: a long wait for our table despite having reservations (or maybe this is just NYC?) and being seated at a table at the... More

Visited with my wife for dinner, first week fo January. No reservation so we waited for a table for about 20 minutes. Were directed to our table by a nice hostess who asked us to wait when she saw the table we were assigned, pointing out she could probably get us a better one, which she did, right next to... More

The best place for steak and wine. The hot!! plate was still cooking the steak in front of me. We loved it. Also the choice of wine was excellent.

There isn't much to say other than the fact it's one of the few places in the city with a bone in filet and it's to die for. As well as their onion rings and lobster mac and cheese. Also my favorite drink in the city is their VIP drink. Infused vodka with pineapple. Amazing!?!!! I'd give it 10 stars... More

I have been visiting Del Frisco's for many years and every time, whether for business or pleasure, can never go wrong. In most cases the staff is very accommodating when addressing requests for large parties, quiet tables, special occasions, dietary restrictions, and any extra ordinary items. My International guests really enjoy the ambiance and lively atmosphere and of course, the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
