We introduced another out-of-town friend to Hearth. They are totally sold on it, and planning to return with or without us. Dishes are artfully created and could not be better. And, a memorable wine list.

Imaginative small menu in wonderful, relaxed surroundings make this an ideal brunch venue. Arrived Sunday at 11am for brunch, waiters were attentive but not obtrusive and ordered. Food and drinks came efficiently and were as described. Portions were substantial but not too large, and the...More

I started off with the Ribollita ($14), which is a Tuscan white bean soup with black cabbage, breadcrumbs and cheese. I felt that it was poorly made because I could not recognize any flavor of the individual ingredients. The Rabbit and Olives main course ($28)...More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses

old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
