We had an original potato knish and an egg cream drink. Knish was tasty. Egg cream drink is a sweet treat that reminded me of a Cadbury chocolate egg, just a tad less sweet.

This place is authentic and delicious. Potato was yum, too bad blueberry wasn't available yet! Found it on our food tour with Urban Adventures...

Wanted the authentic Knish and found it at Yonah Shimmel. Tried the potato which was yum, like eating a block of mashed postie. The bakery is very small but not crowded and there's alway room to be knished .

The knish is not bad, but they use frozen vegtables (peas and carrots) in the mixed vegetable one....

We had wonderful knishes. Both savory and sweet. Best I have ever eaten. Service was poor, however there was a tour group there when we arrived.
