Second visit here. Been totally refurbished since we visited 3 years ago. Service fantastic food quality superb. Think the food portions have shrunk not that is a bad thing Only downside is when doors from 8th avenue entrance are opened if your in that side it blows a gale

Omelettes were good. The waffle of the "Chicken and Waffles" was good. Food overall was a little above average. Convenient to the hotel and not overpriced.

My wife and I ate twice here during a recent trip to NYC. Tried the burger (good), ranch chicken burger (great), eggs with corned beef hash (great) and pancakes (fair). This is a no nonsense place serving good sized portions of hearty food. Prices reasonable. Recommended.

I had breakfast at Tick Tock Diner today. I ordered the Italian Omelet, it was ok, but the veggies were wilted and they used canned mushrooms! The hash browns were probably old from last night and reheated until they were burned and so dry from the outside, and soggy and bland from the inside. The service was ok, but not... More

We had 2 BLT's, 2 fries, and one strawberry cheesecake at the counter for $31.00. The bacon was thick and tasted like ham. The cheesecake was light and fluffy, but didn't really taste like anything. They hustle there. It was okay, but not anything special.

Such a huge menu with so many mouth watering things to choose from! We visited on a busy Sunday morning and weren't disappointed. The waiters were so busy but we're still very attentive. We shared a 34th Street Traffic Jam, bagel and corned beef hash.....perfect size for 2 and it was amazing!! I loved the hustle and bustle of the... More

We arrived around 10am and had to wait maybe 10 minutes to be seated. I ordered the grand slam and she had the Athens omelet. The food was in the table in less than 5 minutes, hot, and delicious. I was not a fan of the ham that came with the grand slam but everything else was yummy. Our drinks... More

Big portions for mains and appetizers, The Turkey dinner was a bit dry but the yams were very good. A good selection of mains as well, can get very busy and service was a bit slow.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
