My husband and I were having a few days holiday in New York, and were staying nearby to the House of Lasagna. We decided pop in and see if we could get a table, after only a few minutes wait, we were seated. We decided to opt for the Fall Special, which was $18.00 including a glass of red or... More

I used the reviews from Trip Advisor... great find! We all ordered the Fall Special. A glass of wine, salad and lasagna for $18. It was great & everyone enjoyed it! We also had cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. It is a quaint quiet place... nice place to get away from all the busy places and just relax in beautiful... More

A small restaurant, clean and comfortable. The prices were very reasonable, especially for NYC. Sadly the portions were also rather small, which surprised us, as how expensive can pasta be? Needless to say the food was tasty, and the service very good.

We arrived for lunch with family, the place is very intimate and small for a moment you could feel you jumped to Florence for lunch, the place was packed with people, the waiter sat us at a small table was set beautifully and immediately explained the menu, the dishes were served quickly after we got the waiter recommended dishes, and... This was a late night find and I definitely wasn't disappointed! It was quite busy when we arrived but we were seated straight away. The main waiter was lovely and extremely polite. We both ordered pasta dishes and they were delicious and very filling, the food did not take very long to arrive at all. It's great value for money... More

Lovely little Italian on corner of 39th Street and Lexington. Complimentary bread and olive tapenade, nice side salads with each pasta. Had a home Made cheesecake for dessert which I would avoid. Not sure if it was homemade so I wasn't used to the taste or it was old. I wasn't keen on the discoloration of the base.... However the... More

Had dinner here in October 2016. Two of us had lasagna, one had salmon and one spaghetti. All where great. One of our party announced he wasn't hungry after we sat down and barely touch his dinner. The waiter came by and thought he didn't like it (the food was great) and I think a little tear welded up in... More

A decent basic pasta house...nothing fancy. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. Tables and chairs worn and needed a refurb.

After eating amazing pasta a week ago we thought we'd try here. Ummm it's OK, edible. There was a unique flavor with the meatballs..almost store bought.

House of Lasagna, a midtown institution, has been delighting local business people, residents and visitors for almost 40 years.

All of our Lasagnas are hand-made, from the traditional Lasagna alla Bolognese, to more the more contemporary "Lasagna of the Day" made with organic and local farm-to-table ingredients.

Reservations for small groups are not required. Service is friendly and efficient and waiting time for tables is generally very brief. Plus, our pricing is always friendly!

Yes, of course our 20 minute express lunch is still $9.50 And Martinis & Manhattans are still $6 all day!
