Rude service, overpriced food, not the best quality beef. The name is all about hype and I found it to be average at best.

Went here on our first night in NYC. OMG the food was amazing. You just choose off the pictures on the wall and let the chef's know. Once cooked you just move along with your tray and pay the man, then find a seat. I had the steak tip, ribs and chicken with jacket potato and garlic bread. I couldn't... More

I found this place through a write up by a NY tour guide. Bottom line is what to do when you go in. This is not a high class restaurant but gave me the best steak I had in NYC. (We went to several mid to high range restaurants on our stay and the steak here won every time.) So... More

I decided to bring my 2 work colleagues to the best Steakhouse in NYC. All 3 of us had the T-Bone Steak and needless to say, our plates didn't require cleaning at the end of the meal as not even a crumb was left. Walking over there we had the option of going to Bobby Van's as it was next... More

If you want a quick, inexpensive steak, Tad's is for you! The beef is not of prime or choice taste/quality, but it's still tasty and comes with sides.

Our visit was very clean and friendly. We did the steak, potatoes and salad lunch special for $9. The steaks were way over cooked but it was cheap so we didn't complain.

Prime rib steak was too well done although I was not even asked how I wanted to be cooked. The rest is ok, very informal place and reasonably priced for the location.

One of my favorite places I ate at on my NY adventure. Go for the lunch special it's $8.49 it's over at 4pm. The juice they put on top of the steak is delicious. A+

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
