Great French classics with fully stocked bar. Most of the menu items are very tasty and made to order like it should be. Highly recommend

A wonderful late Birthday Luncheon for a group of 7 woman. The dining space was clean, bright and nicely decorated. Food was deliciously prepared and most graciously served by Johnny our waiter. He was a doll! Attentive to our group, charming, helpful and made for a lovely experience. We will be back!

My wife and I are Philadelphians who come to the City for a show 4 times yearly. We almost always go to Marseille, a French bistro, for lunch, and yesterday was no exception. A family of 4 adults and 2 children came in hungry and left full and contented. Service is always good. Wow! Marseille and "School of Rock" in... More

We went there for a drink to end our night. We wound up getting appetizers and a bottle of wine. I got the charred octopus, and it was great. Our server, James (a young Kevin Bacon), was great.

Nice restaurant. The ambiance is decidedly French, the se vice was polite and quick ( the wrapping for my teabag was gone before I put it down!). There were five of us and everyone was happy with their food, from steak frites and chicken tagine to onion soup gratinee and crab cakes. All delicious. I would go back if I... More

This restaurant was recommended to us as a terrific place to go before attending the theater. It was convenient, but the rest of our visit to Marseille was quite disappointing. We arrived at our reservation time and were seated immediately...a good start for sure. The restaurant was very noisy, but we had been warned about that. As we were seated,... More

We loved our time there ... My wife had French Onion Soup. I had Crab Cakes for starters and Salmon for the main course. For desserts I had their Lemon Tart.. We tried wines as well... Everything was just perfect... we highly recommend this place.

We arrived about 1/2 hour before the kitchen opened. We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome by our waiter, John B. His recommendations, as well as his excellent description of all the dishes we were interested in, made this a wonderful experience. Additionally, we let him know that we were going to the theatre later that evening. Everything... More

Close your eyes and turn around, you'd swear you are in France. Authentic bistro feel and ambience. Nice bar scene, interesting but not overwhelming menu. Classic dishes and a fun place to dine. Energetic crowd, attentive service. Always a solid choice. Our third time dining here, all were good experiences

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
