A nice location near the ball drop. A small corner establishment with a line of tables parallel to a central aisle. We were seated in front of the bar after declining the table by the door (it is January). Simple glasses of water would lighten our bill and was furnished ice cold and with requested lemon. Three small hard crusted... More

My husband surprised me with theater tickets for my birthday - December 20 - and hadn't make dinner reservations until that day. After scouring Trip Advisor and Open Table for available seating so close to Christmas, I came across Pietrasanta so we gave it a try. The staff was very friendly, professional and efficient. We shared a Caesar salad which... More

Great location, by that I mean easy to get to. It's on the outskirts of time square so no need to wedge yourself through the crowds to get there. The staff are very welcoming, friendly & at ur service all night through. The prices are very reasonable average $20 for a main - a large plate of homemade pasta with... More

Our concierge mixed up our reservations, and we randomly ended up here before our B'way show. What a lucky find. Our pasta dishes were very good, and the service was friendly and attentive. We never had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled.

Very nice restaurant near Bw'y. Service was excellent and the pork dish was excellent. Calamari needed some seasoning and there was no pepper on the table? The wine special was special, a great recommendation. We'll be back but will interact with the waiter about the meals before ordering next time.

Many years ago when I lived in FL there were at least 2 visits to NYC a year to see plays. This restaurant was always a must visit restaurant. Had a pre matinee lunch which was very good. Very reasonable prices for great food. We had the Capellini Primavera and the Chicken Della Casa. Both were great with the Primavera... More

From Kent in England I'd heard all sorts about Hells Kitchen being a rough neighbourhood etc but not anymore and it's the place to go for something to eat outside of the real touristy traps on NYC. The food is Italian and fresh... the proprietor made room for us despite being fully booked and my partner had the minestrone to... More

Has matinee pre-theater lunch, pasta was perfect, and the best deal was off the Brunch menu which included wine. The place a that hour was half full but cozy, quiet and neighborhoody. Would go again when doing theater.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
