The food is a one in a kind experience. Very light, fine but intense taste, layered on a palate in a precious way, that can be kept on a mind for long time.

There is a fine line between a classy, upscale restaurant serving quality food and a showroom owned by pretentious dreamers. Unfortunately, Le Bernardin has crossed the line for me, and having traveled here all the way from Washington, DC, I have to say I'm rather disappointed by an experience I was truly anticipating. My first impression of the restaurant was... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the Le Bernadin. Although I read about it on TripAdvisor I didn't expect it to be of this high quality. The atmosphere is cosy yet stimulating. Service is impeccable. The food was amazing from starter to desert. I am fully satisfied with this restaurant... 5 full stars

We had a fantastic 3 course lunch at le Bernardin on a recent trip to NYC . The food was fantastic and service was also very good . The 3 course option lunch is especially good value we paid around $300 after adding 2 glasses of wine each and coffee . The choice on offer for a lunch menu is... More

It had been some years since we were last here but when I called to make the reservation the staff person was still able to call up my customer file, which I have to say made me feel great. When I got the confirmation phone call, I made sure to tell the reservationist that I was using a kneewalker scooter,... More

The service, the food, the wine list, the food, the service! Everything was impeccable from the beginning to the end. Also very affordable, the four course tasting menu is only $150 per person. Of course you can upgrade from there if you would like. Trust me it is worth every penny and you will be very satisfied.

Was visiting the Big Apple for a day trip from DC. With the weather playing spoil sport, I thought of making my day brighter with a nice meal. So, Le Bernardin it was. Had read great reviews so expectations were high too. It has a 3 star Michelin rating and Chef Eric Ripert's love to play with freshness legendary. It... More

It's not the best restaurant in the world, but Eric Ripert's temple to cuisine is competent French fusion. Dont bother with anything but seafood and you wont be disappointed. I had a tuna carpaccio (OK), a seafood pasta (delicious), and the halibut (sublime). The service is impeccable if a bit perfunctory since the system calls for multiple servers at the... More

At $87, the pre-fix lunch is a good value. The room is beautiful. The service was wonderful and the food delightful.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
