Went to Amelia's because the hotel I was staying in didn't get particularly good write-ups about the quality of its breakfast service, and a quick Google showed the location of good diners in the area. There aren't many anymore....because one huge problem that's afflicting much of Manhattan is that traditional Mom-and-Pop businesses are being squeezed out of existence by greedy... More

Delicious and quick. The fresh squeezed orange juice, although a bit pricy, was like liquid sunshine. Staff is friendly and courteous.

First day in NYC and went in search of a traditional diner whilst heading 'downtown'. Starving and running out of options we came upon Amelia's. Looks very basic and may put people off if they are looking for something a little more refined - However - don't be put off! The service was great; the menu is very comprehensive for... More

This diner in SoHo provides a hearty breakfast. With probably 40 breakfast options on the menu there is something for everyone. I had the French toast and a couple of poached eggs. All were good.

This place has been around for years. Nick the owner is amazing and hires the best staff ever. The food is perfect. Priced right. Fun. Kind. Funny. It's a part of NY that is getting hard to find. Everyone I take there gets hooked and has to take photos with the staff. Once you eat here, you'll never forget Amelia's.... More

Delicious breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was good. We could feel the rumblings every time a subway train went through below this restaurant. It kinda made the experience little more fun.

I stayed at the trump soho hotel around the corner which is ridiculously overpriced for food and heard this place did good, reasonably priced food. I wasn't disappointed. I went here for breakfast 4 out of 6 days of my stay. They have a great variety on their menu and the food is really great. I also went back for... More

We managed to make it in time for their breakfast menu as we were looking to have a late breakfast (around 11am). The service from our waitress was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast options are simple and what you would expect when looking for eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc. Prices are decent and comparable to other restaurants for breakfast options.

Thank Carlo F
