The food was pretty Authentic Chinese Food. Most people eating there look like Chinese and orientals. Not many western tourists. That means it is authentic Chinese Food. The dishes are for quick eat and cost less than $10 each. We really liked the food there,...More

This restaurant was my canteen, started more than 20 years ago. Now I am no longer live in NY, but still go there each time I come back to NY (which is 6 times a year). Each time I go back, it keeps improving in...More

I like this location more than the Grand street location. Don't expect good service here. Some of you guys might even find them rude- but that's the way they are and I am used to it despite the fact that I usually come to this...More

We stopped here Wednesday afternoon to grab lunch. The server were so mean, not even a good afternoon or smile. Anyways, what we ordered was good in taste and as we finished, we get the check where they included the tip for a party of...More

Waiter gave us a recommendation for our lunch meal, and it turned out to be great. Very basic decor, obviously good for locals as we were the only non-Asians which is always a good sign! Cheap eats for a wide variety of soups and other...More

This is the prototype for unadorned utilitarian noodle shop with awesome cheap eats. A storefront on an unpretentious block, it used to be a fish store that sold live sea bass and live frogs too. It is clean, lit by fluorescent bulbs. There are endless...More

This unpretentious-spartan on the go eatery serves scrumptious Vietnamese style dishes. I am addicted to their Pho with belly meat. The duck is also a must try. It's even better than years ago. This is not a place for people that expect attentive wait staff...More

Typical Chinese style fast food restaurant. The Chinese in the billboard outside clearly states that it is Chaozhou 潮州 style though it provides Vietnamese Pho. I ordered the Chaozhou fashion fish ball flat noodle (rice noodle). Not the best but fairly good especially the price...More

Been coming here since I was 7. Service isn't the best but who cares? Get the duck for sure and whatever else your belly desires.

Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
