This unpretentious-spartan on the go eatery serves scrumptious Vietnamese style dishes. I am addicted to their Pho with belly meat. The duck is also a must try. It's even better than years ago. This is not a place for people that expect attentive wait staff or romantic atmosphere. It's all about the food. Order, enjoy and leave fast as place... More

Typical Chinese style fast food restaurant. The Chinese in the billboard outside clearly states that it is Chaozhou 潮州 style though it provides Vietnamese Pho. I ordered the Chaozhou fashion fish ball flat noodle (rice noodle). Not the best but fairly good especially the price is only $5.5. So I am very happy with it. Do not expect great service.... More

Been coming here since I was 7. Service isn't the best but who cares? Get the duck for sure and whatever else your belly desires.

There are several Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown. I selected this one for lunch, as I saw that there were Asian diners inside and hoped that was an indication of good, authentic Vietnamese food. Unfortunately, I found the food to be average. Having had some wonderful pho in Hanoi, I chose the special beef pho. It was well presented, and the... More

when we came in with 11 people there was a kind of panic as they are not equipped for such big groups. They go it managed and the food was good from taste and amount as well as a quick supply. Goof place to eat in Chinatown

Nothing fancy nothing smart. We walked in off the street and it was deja vu like walking into a Kowloon noodle joint in the 1980`s. I had wonton noodles and both the noodle texture and soup were perfect. This was the real thing. The staff there was friendly. They can speak Cantonese、Mandarin、 and English. Prices were about the same as... More

This could be bias because I come from southern California and we have a plethora of good Asian food... So when the hype was that this place serves delicious country style duck noodle with mushroom, of course I ordered that. Gosh, I was disappointed. It really pales in comparison to what I am used to. When they brought out my... More

We had passed several times and always said we would try it some day -- well, today was "some day." The prices weren't bad. We had #17 Special Beef Flat Noodle Soup ($6.50) which was flavorful with loads of beef tendon and #27 Lemongrass Beef Steak on Rice ($9.00) which was tasty, but tough. When the bill came, there were... More

Vietnamese cuisine at a bargain. The duck is amazing and the traditional pho was really good. Great mix of people in this low key venue.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
