We went there with a sushi lover and we liked it. My husband who cannot eat raw fish had a chicken teriyaki which was excellent as well. As other reviews have pointed out, it's a good value for the money since Manhattan is so pricey.

Visited Mizu with a business friend after it was recommended and must say, it didn’t fail to impress. Of course interior is not fancy, but sushi was very good. I had sashimi and couple of rolls and it checked all the boxes to be honest.
The first thing to say is that this place is anything but fancy or fashionable. In fact it has very little ambience at all. At the same time, it serves Sushi and Asian (Thai) food which is just delicious. We have had the yellowtail carpaccio,...More

I suspect several of the reviews are fake. This place is not excellent. It is in need of a renovation and has a terrible smell. The sushi was very bland. The tuna roll was terrible. The jalapeño it the yellow tail and jalapeño was more...More
I take my clients here when I am in midtown. Their sushi is excellent and their service is great. We were there as a party of two and they thought we were crazy for the amount of food we consumed. I really like this place.
