We went there with a sushi lover and we liked it. My husband who cannot eat raw fish had a chicken teriyaki which was excellent as well. As other reviews have pointed out, it's a good value for the money since Manhattan is so pricey.

Visited Mizu with a business friend after it was recommended and must say, it didn’t fail to impress. Of course interior is not fancy, but sushi was very good. I had sashimi and couple of rolls and it checked all the boxes to be honest.

The first thing to say is that this place is anything but fancy or fashionable. In fact it has very little ambience at all. At the same time, it serves Sushi and Asian (Thai) food which is just delicious. We have had the yellowtail carpaccio,...More

If you need a quick fix and want to order in sushi, Mizu never disappoints. Have one of their Maki Combos. Great value and taste.

Living in the Flatiron district gives you many choices for sushi. On East 20th street, for example, Mizu Sushi and Sugarfish are pretty much next to each other. Sugarfish has name recognition and is fairly pricey. Mizu is a local restaurant and has been around...More

Food took forever but it was decent quality and a good place if you are looking for a heap pad Thai that takes 40 minutes to be served.

With a 4 hour wait for a table at Sugarfish on a Sunday night, we decided to give Mizu a try, which is located two doors down. And while it doesn't have the hip ambiance of Sugarfish, the sushi is very good and the service...More

I suspect several of the reviews are fake. This place is not excellent. It is in need of a renovation and has a terrible smell. The sushi was very bland. The tuna roll was terrible. The jalapeño it the yellow tail and jalapeño was more...More

I take my clients here when I am in midtown. Their sushi is excellent and their service is great. We were there as a party of two and they thought we were crazy for the amount of food we consumed. I really like this place.

Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set
