Went for a walk in for the bar area of this restaurant. Front of house staff friendly and we only had to wait half an hour at the bar which was no hardship. We only had mains but they were delicious, one of our best...More

Everything we ate was great quality and the flavors were good but I expected to be blown away. I just wasn’t. Everything was just “good.” I wouldn’t say great. The dessert was the best part (some sort of chocolate halva creation). We were disappointed that...More

As always, the team at Gramercy Tavern is magnificent. I can't imagine how difficult it is to maintain such incredible standards for quality in your service, decor, food, cocktails and, most importantly, the overall quality of the experience for 25 years. From the moment we...More

My mom’s favorite place. This place is an institution. It was amazing from start to finish. Every course was cooked and plated with perfection. Service was attentive. My mom was extremely happy. We love this place!

Gramercy Tavern is what a classic American restaurant feels like. The location is new, but it looks like it has been there forever (in a great way). The service is formal but not fuzzy, and they treat us like regular customers despite the fact that...More

Description
One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.
