We were in NYC for 3 nights and decided on fish for our first night. All the reviews pointed us to Lure, so knowing that we had broadway show tickets, we arrived a bit early for our 6:30 reservation and were promptly seated. The place is quite large and has a cool cruise ship decor that clearly took a lot... More

Soho is filled with so many good restaurants. So, we walked around and just decided to try this place out. You go down some stairs to enter the subterranean restaurant, which looks like you are eating inside a ship. We were greeted warmly as the restaurant was very busy. We snagged a table near the bar and had excellent service.... More

This place is beautiful, I ate the best gnocchi with lobster of my life, and everything that I taste was so yummy! I recommend it!

The food was very good, fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was attentive and professional. There is a lot of noise in the dining room, but we are in a quieter room at the side and it was lovely to be able to talk. I look forward to going again. I did find it odd to have potato chips as... Although very busy for a Friday night, the seafood in this restaurant was pretty amazing, great sushi and quaint nautical decor!

Great food, try the appetizers, shrimp tempura is a must! The decor resembles the interior of a early 1900s liner. Only problem is the noise, >80 dB, hard to have a conversation.

Lure Fishbar was an amazing dining experience. The menu is well put together, and the wine list more than satisfied our needs for my girlfriend's birthday. It was an enjoyable evening, and left a permanent smile on her face.

Stopped in at 7:00 on a Tuesday evening with no reservations, got a table for two immediately. The service was spot on and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the crispy calamari app. All the house special sushi rolls were delicious. Wine by the glass was poured at the table, nice touch.

Well prepared, fresh seafood with a minimalist approach that allows the natural taste of the product to shine through. Beautiful, flakey Alaskan halibut with fennel and braised olives, sweet crab legs and delectable oysters. A must if you're in Soho, just below a dramatic space dedicated to Prada. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
