I stopped by Scalinatella Restaurant on 61st Street for lunch recently. Service was prompt and very friendly, the Italian decor is very pleasant, and cleanliness appeared to be very good. I had pasta with clams, which were prepared beautifully.

We visited this restaurant upon a recommendation and it could not of been better. It gets pretty crowded in there but it's because it's delicious!! The small complementary tastings were wonderful! We ordered the calamari (it was grilled) and oh so perfect! For our entrees...More

We arrived not knowing what to expect. It was packed and buzzing. We were shown to a little table tucked in a corner near the bar. It was extremely intimate and private. The wine list impressed us with many brunellos that we knew and some...More

This is known as a very trendy restaurant in NYC. The atmosphere is great, hole in the wall type environment, dark, but lively. The food is good, but not amazing. The prices are very high, even for NY italian restaurant.

It's very expensive, but great service and great food. We walked out of Bella Blu, and we were looking for a great Italian place. This is the real deal. We live in NYC so have many choices, we felt luck to find this place .

My wife and I had dinner with friends at this restaurant on Saturday night. First time visit. Food and service were good - not outstanding. Our impression of the restaurant was affected by the loudness of people's voices, which made it very difficult to carry...More
