Love the ambience, table set ups and French cuisine! We sat in the half moon booth, very comfortable, enjoyed the beet salad, scallops and the steak!

We chose Balthazar to celebrate my 50th birthday, on our NYC honeymoon, and while we aren't strangers to fabulous restaurants, we were blown away by Balthazar and the team behind the name. You absolutely should book - unless you're happy to wait in a line....More

This is such a great place, great service, awesome selection of food items. As I noted, we were all surprised when we got our main course as every body had ordered different things... that shows the breath of food offered.

Well made classic French food served in a side of urban chaos. Its a crowded, noisy, fun place to be.

I am a monthly guest in this restaurant- but this time I had to write: a BIG CHAPEAU! Everything, from the bar (eating in the bar here is a special experience with excellent hosts), the food, the lovely ambiance.... I heartily recommend!

Hi, it really depends on when you are planning to visit the restaurant. But I would suggest at least two weeks to avoid disappointment. Friday lunch through to Sunday lunch are peak times.
