Our first experience at the Tribeca Grill was a great one! Very friendly staff, great food (a real treat for your tastbuds!) and a nice environment. We came in without a reservation and were seated right away. We will definately visit again when w are in New York.

The waiters and the food were friendly enough but it would be nice to be given a plate in new york that is not covered by grease! Even the apple crumble dessert was swimming in some fat/grease. Take me back to Europe and some finesse now!

Early dinner after a matinee, this place was recommended to us and at 6:30pm on a Wednesday we had the inside to ourselves (other than the happy hour crowd at the bar), nice enough day that the other customers were seated outside. I had the Steak Tartare , excellent! Small comment is that a little more red chili, Caesar salad... More

Beyond what we expected. Large menu selection. Awesome drinks. Something for everyone. Food high quality and service went along with it. Not much more to say. It's a definite 5 stars which is what it got!

I was taken to Tribeca Grill as a birthday meal and an end to an enjoyable week in NYC. A ten minute walk along Franklin from the Franklin subway stop and one of the easier places we have had to navigate over the past week. We arrived early and enjoyed a pre drink in the friendly bar. The food, service... More

Entertained a group of 12 for dinner. We had a private room and a set menu. All of the food was well prepared, the service was very attentive and it offered a nice atmosphere. In hind sight I wish we were in the main dining room but still a very good event. Prior to meal we had a few drinks... More

A Sunday night treat was disappointing. Steak that was cooked properly but lacking in quality flavour. Spinach cooked in garlic where the chef had clearly forgotten the garlic. (To be fair that was removed from the bill). Bread over baked. Wine list worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant but overpriced for a modest grill. Great selection of cheeses but at... More

Dined on a raining Friday night and the restaurant was not even 20% full. The food was good, but not amazing that one would expect at this type of establishment. Steaks were probably the stand out of all our meals. We were a table of four, and the service was extremely slow to start considering there was hardly any other... More

My wife and I were just here for my birthday dinner, but every time I dine at Tribeca Grill it's always top notch. The dining room floor is big but cozy, the center-bar convenient for a cocktail before a meal, and most importantly the food is always on point. Recently, we split two salads to start, my wife had the... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
