The Dead Rabbit is a great place to get a stiff Irish whiskey and/or cold beer after walking around the FiDi all morning. Has a neat Irish- pub vibe, yet not tacky and touristy. Also has a vintage vibe as well- old pictures and memorabilia...is hung everywhere. Food is out of this world. Highly recommend the Corned beef Sammy. Definitely a new favorite.More

We visited on Friday 13th March; initially in the downstairs “tap room” and had both beers and Irish coffees. All the staff behind the bar were amazing. Gave great recommendations and were great craic! We then went upstairs to the cocktail bar. The two waiting...staff in hand (one lady + one man) were brilliant. They helped us dissect the menu and pick out the most UNBELIEVABLE cocktails 🔥 Shane behind the bar was amazing! Couldn’t recommend enough! Make sure you visit!!!More

People seem rather enamored with this place, but I personally didn't find it that great. It's wirth a visit, but not exactly something to go out of your way for.

Unfortunately, we did not make reservations for bar/area upstairs. But we stayed at the downstairs bar. We initially had a poor experience. We were asked by a server if we would like a table. We said yes. A female hostess with short hair tried to...sit us at a table way too small for our party so we politely declined and decided to go to the bar. She yelled at us that we already cleared the table for us and was very rude. She continued to talk about us to the other server. She made us feel very uncomfortable. Luckily the bar tender made up for this poor experience. He was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. I would highly recommend this place if I wasn't for the hostess.More

Visited The Dead Rabbit after a great day of sightseeing in NYC. We enjoyed several excellent original cocktails, plus they also offer a great selection of local and international beers on tap. Food was very good pub grub - we shared a couple of sandwiches...and highly recommend the corned beef. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though the pub was very crowded due to the Sunday Seisiún which featured a very talented traditional Irish musical group. We covered a lot of ground during our five day visit to NYC but our pub night at The Dead Rabbit was a highlight! Highly recommended!More

Stumbled upon this place just to get in our of the cold and I was pleasantly surprised. It was jam packed and very cozy. Service is very good and they serve old school Irish Coffees (yummy) Prices are in line with the FD and they...have real sawdust on the floors.. ExcellentMore

I’ve been in a few places in my life and the Manhattan is a go-to drink. I will surely never find one so smooth and sweet.

My niece who lives in NYC took us here for cocktails after a full day of sightseeing and I loved it. I have never had cocktails like that!! And the upstairs was exciting. Make sure to check out the menu upstairs. So original! I could...become a regular.More

This was my second time to NYC and The Dead Rabbit in the last year. Both were great! My two favorite drinks were Doctor's Orders and Bells & Whistles. The flavors were interesting and not like anything I had tried before. This is my new...must do in NYC and look forward to our return visit. The food was good also :)More

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It seemed like nobody was interested in seating us for about 10 minutes, but we finally got a table once the hostess showed up. We started off with a salad and the potato leek soup. I...had to as two different people for a spoon and it took 5 minutes to get one after the soup was delivered. It had cooled significantly by that time. No apology. We also had to wait a very long time for the salad and the tuna sandwich. Nobody ever stopped by to ask how things were. I also pain $5 for about 4oz of diet coke, and was never offered a refill, though they did take my glass away. All of the food was actually quite good. We were just highly disappointed in the service for the price we paid.More
