The Keg Room was a great find. My only mistake was arriving with only an hour available, late at night. The music, the service, the space, the televisions, the beer selection...and in some ways the food (late night snack options were only available time of arrival)...made me want to stay. I will start with the Keg Room next time and... More

Had dinner here while on weekend tour of NYC. Menu offered wide variety of food and beer choices. Great customer service despite being very busy on a Thursday night. Was loud so may not be good for family, but great option for us as 2 couples looking for dinner with varying desires to eat.

Brought here after a Jets game at the Metlife and it was excellent, our host sold it to us as a great friendly bar with the best wings in NYC. It was a large and really friendly sports bar showing several games and the wings were great, even my whimsy ranch sauce ones. Great range of beer, including Yeungling and... More

This is definitely a sports bar! There's sports everywhere - we didn't go for the sports, it was opposite our hotel. But the food was very tasty - I had the fish. Had some wine too and the bill was very reasonable. Staff were helpful and attentive. Highly recommend if you're about the area!

We where in here a few days before xmas and it was packed out and very noisy. The atmosphere might be great but it was hard to get served and to hear yourself think. The music is loud and they tv on too, there was little room too eat in comfort in. The food was good and the service okay... More

Popped in for dinner while staying in the neighbourhood. It was a Friday night and not overly busy for a fairly big bar. The service was, what shall we say, more colder than the Manhattan wind in January. The food was ok but I've had better for cheaper in the neighbourhood. Would it harm the staff to show some warmth... More

Excellent spot. Food was incredibly fresh. The Shepard pie was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices reasonable and portions were huge, could have split the pie. Glad we stopped in.

Closely located to our hotel and when we arrived realised we had been before on a previous visit to NYC. We were seated immediately. Bar was busy and great atmosphere. Service excellent we shared crab cake followed by shepherds pie and pub burger. Both excellent and good portions. On a cool NY evening good comfort food. We expect to return... More

I keep coming back for those hot potato chips. They are addictive- really good. Very nice selection of beers. The service is friendly and helpful- lots of TV sets all around. The place is very large- roomy- not too noisy at lunch. I had the steak salad which was okay- the steak was a little grizzly. The prices are very... More

Went there due to their Facebook promotion for New Years drinks, only to be informed 'yeah we actually ended that today @ 5".... On the drinks menu there was another discount advertised and when I asked for that I was told "were not doing that tonight as we're busy!" Now I can assure you they weren't busy at this point...... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
