My husband and I enjoy a good glass of wine. Allow me to say I have grown up with wine in my family and visited vineyards during my childhood and adulthood. I am quite the collector and still learning, but even so, I know a...More

We were recommended this place. It is very quaint and trendy. Expect to be seated in a very small, compact, crowded, and noisy environment. The wine flight was excellent. The food was not remarkable. The service was very poor and non attentive. I see lots...More

Delicious experience. Excellent wine list with extensive offerings and reasonable prices. Enjoyed a Saint Julien 2006 which was served at the right temperature. Foie grad was house-made and very flavourful. Amélie salad with truffle vinaigrette was a meal in itself. The boneless trout was cooked...More

This a small rectangular place with a row of small tables along one wall and the bar along the other. The good part of that is that it's easy to get a waiter's attention. They had a nice selection of wine flights and very tasty...More

what a wonderful bistro. Excellent service as we received our drinks and lunch quickly. The attentive staff always around to make sure we were drinking and eating. Atmosphere was very pleasant...like we were in Europe having a laid back meal. Thank you :)

We had heard good things about Amelie, a cozy French restaurant in the Village. We went their for dinner on a recent business trip. we loved the decor and the restaurants vibe. The food and wine were excellent as was the service.

Food is great, it gets a little packed and the noise level can be high. But there is a great buzz and you always dine well.

We arrived a little early - about 7.15 PM and lots of tables were open. Service was attentive, everything arrived promptly, chicken liver mousse and duck special were delicious and wines by the glass were tasty.

Amelie's is always-- hopelessly, noisily, annoyingly overcrowded and cramped! But I just love French food and good wine so I'll deal with it. I've only been here a few times so far (last time for my birthday in March 2018) but the mussels were great...More

While in the Village we visited Umami Burger only to find they moved! So, cranked up Trip Advisor app on my phone and, voila, found Amelie. The Lamb Tagine was excellent, as well as the mushroom flatbread. We look forward to our next visit!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
